FAQ

Grouped by studio operations — last reviewed with cohort 07-KR.

Format

How flexible is cohort pacing really?

Each program lists expected weekly hours. You can shift async work within the week, but live critiques have fixed windows—miss more than two without notice and mentors may reschedule you to the next block.

Do you offer certificates?

Yes, a completion certificate is issued when deliverables meet the rubric. It describes skills practiced, not job outcomes.

Tools

Which licenses do I need?

Bring your own seats for Figma, Miro, or Notion where referenced. We do not bundle paid vendor licenses into tuition.

Is code hosting provided?

You use your own GitHub or GitLab accounts. We supply template repos for exercises but not private enterprise hosting.

Teams

Can a product trio attend together?

Yes—request adjacent seats so you can share context during paired labs. Each participant still submits individual artifacts.

Do you customize agendas?

Light tailoring is possible for private workshops, but public cohorts follow the published arc to keep critiques comparable.

Policies

What if I disagree with critique feedback?

Critique focuses on traceability—tokens, evidence, accessibility. You can dissent in writing; mentors document rationale for learning, not grading.

What is explicitly not included?

We do not run hiring guarantees, paid media for your portfolio, or procurement negotiations with your employer. We also do not provide legal advice about accessibility compliance.

Logistics

Which languages are supported?

Primary instruction and materials are in English. Selected mentors can annotate in Korean when it accelerates understanding.

Where are sessions hosted?

Remote-first with optional studio days announced per cohort. Physical meetups depend on local guidance and room availability in Ulsan.
